Pilates is a mental and physical body-conditioning programme, which uses exercises to change the way we use our bodies. It is often employed on a remedial basis to counter the postural problems that in our modern stressful lives can lead to joint & back pain.

Pilates aims to correct common muscle imbalances, targeting the deep postural muscles, and working to build strength from the inside out, rebalancing the body and bringing it into correct alignment, restoring natural normal movement.
